Overview:
Aswan is in the south of Egypt’s Arab Republic, is the title of civilization in Egypt throughout its long history, and the gateway to Africa.
Aswan was known as “Sono” in the ancient Egyptians’ times, meaning the market, as it was a commercial center for caravans coming to and from Nubia.
