Overview

You will then Have a 3-hour drive through the decent desert road that is very well cared about; after about 1.5 hours, you will get an interval to stretch your legs, get a drink, or freshen up. Then continue the drive for another 1.5 hours to enjoy a fantastic day trip to Alexandria.
Today we will experience the stunning Mediterranean Sea coast (Alexandria) and visit the most significant Roman cemetery. The Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa historical tombs combining Egyptian & Greek Architecture style consist of three levels cut in the rock, followed by a visit to the 3rd Century Pompeii's Pillar. This 25-meter red Aswan granite roman triumphal column is the last of the Seraphim Temple's remaining relics. Constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesareum.
Next, this wonderful day was followed by a Qaitbay citadel, a 15th-century defensive fort situated on Alexandria's eastern harbor entrance, established in 1477 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa'it Bay.
Continue our tour by an Outside view of Abu El Abbas Mosque, with Lunch at the fish restaurant.
Finally, you will visit Alexandria Bibliotheca before returning to your hotel in Cairo.

A. When and where does the tour start/end?
Your tour will start/conclude your hotel as its private daily tour for approximately 12 hours from 07.00 AM till 07.00 PM.
C. Do you arrange airport transfers?
Private airport transfers are when you and your travel companions order pre-booked transportation to your destination. Airport transfer fees usually start at about $10 per person one way. In other words, it is not in this tour fare; you can expect to pay at least an additional $20 per person for transportation to and from the airport. Typically, you are met at Cairo airport by a Geoota Travel driver & Guide holding signs with names outside of the arrival hall's baggage claim.
