In 1858, Auguste Mariette oversaw the Egyptian Antiquities Institution, and he built a small museum in the Bulaq area, which opened in1863.
In 1891, the antiquities were transferred from the Bulaq area to the Giza Palace (Saray El-Giza).
In 1902, the present Museum was built merely unrivaled, it has about 130,000 objects on display, and several hundred thousand are still in the vaults, not to mention the hundreds of thousands in the secured basement.

A. When and where does the tour start/end?
Your tour will start/conclude in your hotel as its private daily tour for approximately 04 hours from 08.00 AM till 01.00 PM.
B. Do you arrange an entrance inside the Mummy room?
Yes, this tour visits the entire Egyptian Museum. However, some clients who wish to enter the Mummy room (against charge) should indicate booking to pick them up earlier and purchase tickets directly.
C. Do you arrange airport transfers?
Private airport transfers are when you and your travel companions order pre-booked transportation to your destination. Airport transfer fees usually start at about $10 per person one way. In other words, it's not in this tour fare; you can expect to pay at least an additional $20 per person for transportation to and from the airport.
