Geoota Travel's professional and friendly licensed tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby.
Transfer with an air-conditioned vehicle to scout Cairo Citadel, which overlooks Cairo as one of Al-Mokattam Mountain's high tops.
Saladin's citadel is considered one of the most famous Islamic sites in the Middle East. The castle also houses the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha of Egypt and many other museums inside.
Cairo Citadel resembles a typical early medieval fortress with massively imposing gateways, towers, and high defending walls.
Watch and immerse yourself in the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali, which is modeled along the classic Turkish lines. It took 18 years to build, its unique construction with twin minarets.
The naming was because of the extensive use of the Alabaster stone on the exterior walls and surfaces. It was built to be like the blue mosque in Istanbul. Capture some fantastic photos from the Panorama of the Citadel.
You will then need a short drive to explore Cairo's foreign market at the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar; to know more about the handmade artifacts and get some souvenirs before heading back to the hotel.
